KRX has launched a portfolio of high-power connectors, which are specifically designed to connect power cables (EV) drive systems used in electric vehicles.

KRX 20 Series sockets and plugs are designed to provide a safe and reliable solution for repairing electric vehicles, providing a tool-free solution for disconnecting the internal high-voltage battery pack and providing short-circuit protection. The device uses a two-stage lever system to disconnect the HVIL (High Voltage Interlock) circuit before the contacts are separated. All high-voltage conductive surfaces on the socket meet the IP2XB anti-touch standard.

KRX17 Series plugs and sockets are designed for various electric vehicle applications, including power supply and signal interconnection. Integrating the company’s one-way or three-way equipment has key electrical characteristics, including rated voltages up to 1kV and current handling ranges from 23A to 350A.

The third series of EV applications provides a reliable and economical high-voltage through connection. This lightweight series is equipped with a plastic shell and cable gland, meets the requirements of IP67, 360° shielding, rated voltage of 1000V DC, and includes devices that provide one-way, two-way and three-way connections. Multiple encoding positions can also be used.

Finally, the new connector series complies with IEC62196-3 and allows the use of AC or DC power to charge electric vehicles. The combination plug includes two DC power contacts, which provide exceptionally fast charging in public areas. The inlet and plug of the CCS Combo are equipped with temperature sensors and color LEDs to monitor the charging status and temperature. Combo can provide any length of cable with 60, 125 and 200A options.
